He has held the title of National President of the Association of Immigration Counsel of Canada (AICC) as well as Vice President of the Canadian Association of Professional Immigration Counsel (CAPIC) for several years, which is the current professional body of Immigration Consultants.

He is also a past recipient of the Leadership Award for his outstanding vision, courage, dedication and commitment in service to the association, its members, and the profession.
